Shipping policy
Processing. Orders are packed and shipped within 1–2 business days. We make biltong in small batches and ship it fresh from our facility in Tyler Hill, Pennsylvania — no warehouses, no middlemen. Orders placed on weekends or holidays go out the next business day. You'll receive a tracking number by email the moment your order ships.
Delivery. We ship via UPS and USPS. Rates are calculated at checkout based on your address and order size. Most orders arrive within 2–7 business days of shipping, though carrier timelines can vary and aren't something we control once the package leaves our hands. Orders over $100 ship free.
Bring it inside. Shelf-stable doesn't mean weatherproof. Biltong is a fresh, preservative-free food, and it isn't built to sit on a porch or in a hot mailbox for days on end. Please plan to bring your order indoors soon after it's delivered — especially in warm or humid weather. We can't be responsible for orders left unattended at the door or exposed to the elements after delivery. If you'll be traveling, consider timing your order or having someone collect it for you.
Where we ship. United States only, all 50 states. Federal regulations prohibit shipping meat products internationally, so we can't make exceptions — though we appreciate the enthusiasm from abroad.
Lost, delayed, or damaged packages. If your tracking shows delivered but nothing arrived, check with neighbors and your local post office first — then email us at hello@bravebiltong.co and we'll help you file a claim and sort it out. If your order arrives damaged, see our Returns & Refunds policy; we'll make it right.
